On June 22, 2023, Benjamin Castaldi surprised everyone. Just a few weeks after Matthieu Delormeau, Aurore Aleman’s companion revealed that he would no longer participate in TPMP at the next school year. In fact, the former host of Loft Story And Secret Story has worked for several years on a secret project to which he will devote himself fully this year: his play.
Baptized Bungalow 21this play in which the sisters Emmanuelle and Mathilde Seigner come together and play Marilyn Monroe and Simone Signoret respectively, can be discovered by the public since September 14 at the Théâtre de la Madeleine.
“In 1960, two legendary couples stayed at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. In bungalow 20, Simone Signoret and Yves Montand lived: they loved each other, they were beautiful, still young, full of life, at the height of their glory”, first explains the theater on its site to present the history of this play. Before continuing: “But Marilyn Monroe, living in the neighboring bungalow, is an irresistible woman whose relationship with the writer Arthur Miller is failing. Simone becomes Marilyn’s friend, Yves tours with her while trying to resist her seduction. Alas, Arthur flees. The lives of four people will be shattered… An ordinary story with extraordinary beings which offers a gripping portrait of two women as famous as they are scarred.”.

Benjamin Castaldi returns to “TPMP” as “only invited”
If Benjamin Castaldi has done enough promotion to interest the public in his work, he will still be entitled to a publicity stunt from his ex-boss. In any case, this is what Cyril Hanouna indicated on September 14 on the set of TPMP. During this Thursday’s daily, Jean-Michel Maire launched: “Do you know why men have breasts even though they don’t breastfeed?”.
A question to which Cyril Hanouna responded with humor: “We will have Benjamin Castaldi as a guest on Monday, he will tell us”. A few moments later, the host confirmed that his ex-columnist would be received as a“exceptional guest” this Monday, September 18 as part of the promotion of his play.
