The novelty

After OD-Andalusia

Waiting for the new seasonDouble occupation on Noovo (and that ofOD temptations in the sunthe new series piloted by Maripier Morin on Crave), we get news of the competitors of the 2023 edition by watching the web series After OD-Andalusia. Small spoilers in bulk from the first episodes: the winners, Simon and Mia, are still a couple. But their basilisk is failing. Anthony completes his “move” to Saguenay to join Marie-Andrée. Nurse Céline leaves Moncton for Montreal, where she will administer botox and filler injections. Sami is still single, and Lara and Vincent restore an old mirror in Boisbriand.

Christmas in July

PHOTO PROVIDED BY ELLE FICTIONS

The TV movie A couple for Christmaswill be broadcast on July 4 at 8 p.m. on ELLE Fictions.

For a fourth year, ELLE Fictions is filling its July schedule with Christmas TV films. Monday to Saturday, from 8 a.m. to noon, and every evening, the specialty channel offers American romantic comedies dubbed into international French that give off a strong smell of pine. As for new features, we point out A couple for Christmas (July 4 at 8 p.m.), which tells the story of Tiffany, who develops a plan with her friend Peter to conquer Brett, her crush. Let us also mention 12 challenges for Christmas (July 11 at 8 p.m.), which paints the portrait of Elara, a “high school teacher” who must work with Gabriel, a teacher from France. It smells like good feelings.

ELLE Fictions, until July 31

Canada Day

Isabelle Racicot will once again host Canada Day in Ottawa.

After Quebec, it’s Canada’s turn to be celebrated in music. Presented live from LeBreton Flats Park in Ottawa, the two-hour concert will bring together a dozen artists of all genres, including Corneille, FouKi, the electro-funk duo Chromeo, the rock group Metric, Sara Dufour, the pop duo Neon Dreams and Kiesza, the Alberta singer and dancer who had been lost sight of since her success Hideawayreleased in 2014. (For those who don’t remember it, the chorus was just a series of “Ouh… Ahhh… Ahhh… Ouh…”.) Once again, Isabelle Racicot will host this great event. Note that a lunchtime ceremony with Marie-Mai and Bedouin Soundclash will be broadcast starting at 11:30 a.m.

ICI Télé and CBC, Monday at 8 p.m.
