All Olympic sports are available for catch-up on ICI Tou.tv, to allow normal people, those who have not taken time off to make couch potatoes in front of the screen over the last two weeks, to watch the competitions they missed. In particular, we suggest fencing (to try to understand the rules), beach volleyball (to hear analyst Gilles Lépine say that a player who is good at defense deserves to be sponsored by a vacuum cleaner brand because she “picks up everything”) and athletics (we never thought we would get emotional watching the hammer throw). Featured in the top 10 One of the most-watched series on Netflix since its release earlier this month, this offering from BBC Studios is based on a “young adult” detective novel by Holly Jackson. After watching a few episodes, we’d go even further: A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder (in French, Murder Instructions) is aimed at teenagers. The series tells the story of Pip Fitz-Amobi, a bright young girl who tries to solve a murder committed five years earlier, considered a closed case. However, the heroine discovers (too) quickly details that had escaped the police. The real culprit is still on the loose and seems determined to stop the budding investigator.

Sure, the Canadians (Félix, Leylah, Shapo, Bianca, etc.) lowered their flag at the start of the event, but that doesn’t matter. With these finals, TV sports fans will be able to start their post-Olympic withdrawal gently. If it doesn’t rain, the pre-match will start at 5 p.m., followed by the women’s match in Toronto at 6 p.m., with Sébastien Goulet (description) and Séverine Tamborero (analysis). On the Montreal side, the men’s match will start at 7:30 p.m., with Félix Séguin and Marie-Ève Pelletier at the microphone. Despite the absence of a few big names (Alcaraz, Djokovic) and the early elimination of several crowd favorites (Medvedev, Monfils, Tsitsipás), we still had a blast throughout the tournament.

You think that after watching the French-Quebec original with Anne-Élisabeth Bossé as a policewoman who goes back in time to stop a violent crime, you have no reason to watch its Canadian-English adaptation? Wrong. The script may have undergone only a handful of changes, but the actors’ performances give us the impression of watching a completely different series. Ontario actress Vinessa Antoine brings unparalleled depth to the main character. Even Vincent Leclerc, who reprises his role as a violent man, plays in a different way. The difference in budget is also striking. This remakedirected by Jean-François Asselin, seems more polished to us. And some shots of Montreal really look like postcards.
