A surprising transaction in the television sector in Quebec! The company Quebecor, owner of TVA among others, becomes a minority partner of Aetios, the production company of Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau, close to Radio-Canada.

The couple has produced several flagship Radio-Canada programs in recent years, including Virginia, Unit 9, District 31 And Stat. Aetios is also behind Dumasthe new series by author Luc Dionne which will be broadcast from September 9 on Ici Radio-Canada.
Although close to the public broadcaster since its founding in 1999, Aetios has also delivered some series to TVA, such as Fortier, Happiness And Blue Moon.
According to information from the DutyQuebecor had been in discussions with the production company for several months with a view to a minority stake. It was concluded on Friday.
