Drew Doughty scored 33 seconds into overtime and the Los Angeles Kings beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 on Tuesday.

The Kings earned a 10e consecutive road victory, equaling an NHL record set by the Buffalo Sabers in 2006-07.

The Kings were down 3-0 shortly after midway in the second period, before a double from Phillip Danault and a goal from Arthur Kaliyev.

Vladislav Gavrikov had two assists and Phoenix Copley stopped 26 shots for the Kings, who have won seven of their last eight outings.

Kirill Marchenko, Johnny Gaudreau and Mathieu Olivier scored the Blue Jackets’ goals, while Elvis Merzlikins stopped 35 shots.

In the third period, the Kings quickly tied the game with three goals in the first 6:38 of play.

Danault first deflected a shot from the blue line, 23 seconds into the third period. He added a sixth goal this season at 5:08, pushing into the promised land a puck that had stopped just behind Merzlikins.

Kaliyev then created the deadlock with a third goal in five games.
