Brady Tkachuk scored twice as the Ottawa Senators beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-3 on Tuesday.

Tkachuk notably hit the bull’s eye on the power play early in the middle period.

Alex Formenton and Chris Tierney were the other scorers for the Senators, who lost only once in four games.

Nick Holden and Tim Stutzle provided two assists each.

Author of 42 saves, Anton Forsberg was beaten by Andrei Svechnikov, Brendan Smith and Vincent Trocheck.

Antti Raanta blocked 27 shots for the Hurricanes. The club escaped the first two games of a four-game trip.

The Senators will now prepare to host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday.
