A few months ago, France Bleu organized a competition to welcome tryo in a class. The artists wanted to meet students to organize a debate on the protection of the planet and offer an exclusive show. Two classes were selected by the group: that of theSaint-Michel school in Vence (Alpes-Maritimes) and the Sainte-Marie Agricultural High School in Aire-sur-la-Lysin Pas-de-Calais.
This is how this friday june 24, the Tryo group spent the afternoon with young people from Sainte-Marie high school. Emmanuel Bordeau followed the students for France Bleu.
A very stimulating encounter for Tryo
We knew it was an extremely dynamic high school, extremely active in this area and finally when they showed us everything they did, everything they developed, well we were quite amazed, so that made heartwarming. tryo
The Tryo group is a group that has always beencommitted to the planet. “When we talked about ecology, we were totally on the sidelines and today, it’s a bit on the front of the stage.” says Christophe Mali. This is the reason why the musicians wanted to meet the high school students, who are destined for careers in the agricultural world and who are very active in defending the environment.
In 30 years what will the Earth be like?
“Ecology is the challenge to be taken up. It’s the challenge of the next few years and so at the same time it’s a challenge that can be scary because we could say to ourselves, be careful, tomorrow it’s going to be terrible.” But the group remains optimistic: “It’s also up to the younger generation to take matters into their own hands and perhaps explain to ourselves, to the generation of boomers, that things are possible. So in the end, that’s all positive.”
The afternoon ended with a Tryo concert. The high school students accompanied them by taking their hits but also the songs from the latest album “battle songs”.
