Trump calls on Putin to release information on Biden’s son

Donald Trump has called on Russian President Vladimir Putin, in the midst of the war in Ukraine, to reveal potential compromising information he has on the son of the American head of state Joe Biden, Hunter.

The former Republican president thus returns to accusations that he has repeated many times, in particular during his campaign for the presidency of 2020, and which have been denied by the person concerned.

Hunter Biden is one of Donald Trump’s favorite targets. The Trump camp has regularly criticized the fact that this turbulent son had economic interests in Ukraine and China when his father was Barack Obama’s vice-president (2009-2017).

In an interview broadcast on Tuesday by the Real America’s Voice program “Just the News”, Mr. Trump assures that the wife of a Moscow mayor gave $ 3.5 million to Hunter Biden and his ” family”.

“That’s a lot of money. She gave him $3.5 million and I think Putin would have the answer to that. I think he should make it public,” Trump said.

“I think we should know that answer,” he added during this interview, which according to his presenters, was carried out in his residence in Florida.

Donald Trump had already asked Joe Biden, during a debate before the presidential election, “why, out of curiosity, the wife of the mayor of Moscow gave $ 3.5 million to your son”.

“That’s not true,” replied the Democrat.

Donald Trump has in the past accused Joe Biden of obtaining the dismissal of a Ukrainian prosecutor to protect a gas company, Burisma, from prosecution for corruption, because his son was then on the group’s board of directors.

This “Ukrainian affair” had earned Donald Trump historic impeachment proceedings, after he was accused by the Democratic opposition of having abused his presidential duties by pressuring Ukraine to investigate his political rival and his son’s business activities.

He was eventually acquitted by the Senate.
