In a tweet, with supporting videos, a former collaborator of the Israeli Prime Minister accused A Palestinian to play comedy on a hospital bed. “Yesterday he was ‘hospitalized’. Today he walks as if nothing had happened”he writes. This post has been viewed nearly two million times. So, did this Palestinian fake injuries? This is false, because it is not the same person in the two videos.
Two separate people
In the first video, it is Saleh Aljafarawia Gazan singer and influencer very committed to the Palestinian cause. In their videos, they share images of civilians presented as victims of Israeli bombing in Gaza. He was never injured, and there are no images of him in a hospital bed.
In the second video, it is a Palestinian who has indeed summer injured, but not in Gaza in recent weeks. The civilian was injured during clashes in a refugee camp in the West Bank last July, according to pro-Palestinian media. The original video dates back to August 18, well before the start of the conflict. Since then, his loved ones have shared images of his convalescence.
