Prime Minister Justin Trudeau plans to announce a minor cabinet reshuffle on Wednesday, according to multiple sources familiar with the plan.
They confirmed to The Canadian Press that the first Liberal bench would be somewhat reorganized to take into account the wish of a person in the Council of Ministers for a reduction in his duties for personal reasons.
All five sources agreed to speak on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.
A senior government source says no one is leaving the cabinet and the reshuffle will involve two ministers to accommodate a health issue in the family.
Four sources say the reshuffle will involve Public Services and Procurement Minister Filomena Tassi.
There are currently 38 ministers in the cabinet, not counting Mr. Trudeau himself.
