Tribute to Johnny Hallyday: Laeticia, Jade and Joy bruised by sadness, Mamie Rock in support

The year 2017 seems so close and so far away at the same time. It was during the month of December of this tragic period that France lost its emblem, the king of rock, the idol of young people, the Taulier, Monsieur Johnny Hallyday. For his widow, Laeticia Hallyday, and their daughters Jade and Joy – 17 and 13 years old – the emotion is always very strong as soon as a memory resurfaces from the past. This is why mother and daughters traveled to France, to Paris, on June 15, 2022, to lay bouquets of flowers at the foot of the sculpture erected in honor of the artist on the forecourt of the Accor Hotels Arena room. . On that day, Johnny would have been 79 years old.

Tears flowed down their reddened cheeks with sadness. Fortunately, Laeticia, Jade and Joy were able to count on the support of a few members of their close circle. By their side: Elyette Boudou, tenderly nicknamed Mamie Rock, but also Liliane Jossua and Marie Poniatowski. Some Johnny Hallyday fans were also present, and took the opportunity to take some photographs with the trio. But these had not come en masse to the 12th arrondissement of Paris. They were mostly gathered, a little further west, in the Church of the Madeleine, where they used to gather since the death of the singer.

United by mourning, Laeticia Hallyday and her two daughters took advantage of this trip to spend some time with the family. Stay united in adversity. The day before this birthday, which Johnny could not celebrate, Jade and Joy had spent the evening with their grandfather, André Boudou, during a dinner at Costes, accompanied by their mother, of course. They finally flew to Saint-Tropez, without Jade but with Jalil Lespert, to spend a weekend on a boat with friends. Again, it was a bittersweet moment for Johnny’s widow, who still has it in her skin. She hadn’t been to this town for twenty years, when she was, at that time, hand in hand with her man…
