Tribute to Jean-Marc Vallée in Percé

The Night of Cinema in Percé will pay tribute to filmmaker Jean-Marc Vallée next month.

We will be able to see his first cinematographic work, the short fiction film The magic flowers (1995), which will be screened on Saturday, April 16. as well as the documentary like a wave, directed by Quebec filmmaker Marie-Julie Dallaire, a film for which Vallée collaborated as executive producer. This documentary won the Grand Jury Prize at the Les Percéides Festival last summer. This is the last film that Jean-Marc Vallée signed with his production company Crazyrose. The director of CRAZY died suddenly on December 25.

This new edition of Cinema Night will take place on April 16 from 6 p.m. to midnight. The films will be projected outdoors directly on the facade of the UNESCO Global Geopark building in Percé, located at the foot of the Mont Sainte-Anne mountain. The Festival Les Percéides is also launching its call for films for its 14and edition to be held from August 16 to 21, 2022.
