It was on November 7th that the tribute to Daniel Levi took place during a gala at the Mogador theater in Paris for the benefit of the Daniel Levi association. When Daniel Levi breathed his last on August 6, 2022, suffering from colorectal cancer since 2019, he left the whole of France with his unforgettable repertoire of songs, including The desire to lovetitle of the musical The ten Commandments. So inevitably, on this very special day, many artists from the original Ten Commandments troupe paid tribute to him. They met on the stage of the Mogador theater to perform his most beautiful titles. An evening necessarily strong in emotions.
All profits from the evening as well as donations are donated to the Daniel Levi association. Music was part of the late artist’s entire life. Even during his care and hospitalizations, he sat down at the piano and shared moments of happiness with the other patients. It is therefore quite naturally in music that this beautiful tribute was made. Each year, an evening and a call for donations will be given to raise funds which will be used to buy pianos. They will be placed in a musical space created in memory of Daniel in all hospitals in France. On November 7, many artists close to the singer were present, including Pascal Obispo of course, Julie Zenatti, Patrick Fiori and Gad Elmaleh.
