Tribeca Film Festival unveils lineup

After being presented virtually last year, the Tribeca film festival is reconnecting with its audience. The event, which will take place in different venues in New York from June 8 to 19, unveiled its program on Tuesday.

Some 110 films from around forty countries will be presented during the festival. Of these, 88 will be broadcast as world premieres.

David Frankel’s comedy Jerry and Marge Go Largestarring Bryan Cranston and Annette Bening, as well as Ray Romano’s latest film, Somewhere in Queenswith Romano and Laurie Metcalf, is one of the premieres.

Tour in Vancouver, the black comedy Corner Office, directed by Joachim Back, will also have its world premiere at Tribeca. The film starring Jon Hamm as an office worker is an adaptation of the novel The Roomby Jonas Karlsson.

New York moviegoers will also be able to see the Franco-Canadian production, Baby sitterdirected by Monia Chokri.

As announced a week ago, the festival will open with the Netflix documentary Half-timewhich tells the story of singer Jennifer Lopez.
