Triathlon, an increasingly popular discipline in Drôme-Ardèche

Founded in 1991 by a few enthusiasts, the “Romanais Péageois Triathlon” is a rapidly expanding club with new licensees each year: 75 members in 2019 including 29 young people, 116 in 2020 and 130 in 2022. Each year, the club organizes meetings you sports and friendly like the “Tri du Dauphiné” on the site of Lake Champos (Saint Donat 26), in distance S, XS and children’s races. Since 2020, the structure also organizes a trail in the town of Meymans (7 and 15kms) The opportunity to discover two magnificent sites and have a great sporting time.

But beyond these appointments, triathlon, although being a discipline that appeals to a growing number of practitioners, is also a difficult sport in which pain sometimes sets in for a long time. What are triathletes looking for? what is their relationship to suffering and what do they seek by overcoming it? The answers in this replay.
