The stories of the survivors of the Bataclan continue on the 27th day of the trial of the November 13 attacks. Tuesday, October 19, it was the spectators held hostage who testified.
What is striking is the composure of each of these hostages, held at the Bataclan on November 13, 2015. None of them broke down during the 2h30 in camera with two of the terrorists. The terrorists seem to be improvising and wanting to make the negotiations last without really seeing much to negotiate.
Then all described in court on Tuesday, October 19 a 60-second assault of incredible violence: a jihadist fired 27 shots, then pomegranates de-encirclement pulled by the police, the explosion of one of the terrorists. At the exit, they see the dead bodies in the pit while, a few hours earlier, all were singing and dancing. Finally, that feeling of guilt for still being alive. “It was obvious that we were all going to go there. It is a succession of small miracles that we are still here to talk about it. We can say thank you to Providence“, says Sébastien, one of the hostages.
