She remains indicted in another disappearance
For her last words, Monique Olivier asked for forgiveness from the families of the victims, knowing, she said, that it is unforgivable. The families were waiting for more explanations, in particular on the place where they were buried Marie-Angèle Domece and Estelle Mouzin. Monique Olivier claimed throughout the trial that she did not remember it. The trial also revealed the slowness and errors of the investigation into Estelle Mouzin. The family filed a lawsuit against the state. Monique Olivier remains indicted in another disappearance.
