A consultation like no other in the Auvergne countryside. For two years, midwives have been traveling the roads to meet pregnant women. In their truck, they follow the pregnancies of their patients who sometimes do not have the opportunity to travel, or have to travel kilometers to find a medical office.

30% of French people live in a medical desert.

Opti’soins has hit the roads with cutting-edge medical equipment and à la carte appointments in order to relieve isolated patients. This winter in snowy Auvergne, the two midwives had to travel many kilometers. According to a senatorial report, more than 30% of French people live in a medical desert.
