Traffic will again be severely disrupted at SNCF and RATP on Tuesday, according to the latest traffic forecasts communicated Monday afternoon by transport companies.

A new black day in perspective in transport. After January 19 and 31, Tuesday February 7 will be marked by a new interprofessional strike movement against the pension reform project. THE disengagement should again be very closely followed by the SNCF, which alerts on a circulation “strongly disturbed” and invites travelers to “cancel or postpone their trips”. The situation will also be complicated in Ile-de-France, warns the RATP. Here is the traffic forecast.

At the SNCF: TGV, Intercités and TER disrupted

According to the forecasts updated on Monday February 6 by the SNCF, it will take on average an incredible TGV out of two for this new day of mobilization. In detail, two out of five TGVs will be maintained on the North axis, one out of two TGVs on the East axis, one out of three TGVs on the Atlantic axis, two out of five TGVs on the South-East axis.

As it concerns Ouigo TGVs, two out of five trains are expected to run. For international traffic, the SNCF plans three out of four Eurostars, one out of two Lyria and one out of “slightly disturbed” on the Thalys. For the other international connections, one in three trains on average will depart.

On the TER side, regional traffic will experience a large number of canceled trains. Only three out of ten trains should run on average. However, these forecasts can vary greatly depending on the region. Details of TER traffic will be given later by the SNCF.

Finally, it will be necessary to expect traffic “strongly disturbed” for the Intercities. Only two round trips are planned on the Polt line (Paris-Orléans-Limoges-Toulouse). Same thing for Bordeaux-Marseille and Nantes-Lyon. There will be a round trip for Paris-Clermont and “no traffic” in Nantes-Bordeaux and Aubrac (Clermont-Béziers), in particular.

SNCF also announced on Monday afternoon that it expects traffic “disturbed” in the suburban trains of Ile-de-France for the day of the Wednesday February 8. Two unions, the CGT Cheminots and SUD Rail, call to continue their movement against the pension reform.

In transport in Ile-de-France: reduced traffic for the RER

SNCF warns of a significant reduction in traffic RER in Ile-de-France on Tuesday. Three out of five trains will run on RER A. One out of two RER B trains is expected (no interconnection at Gare du Nord). The RER C should see one in three trains running. The situation will be tense on the RER E (two trains out of five) and very tense on the RER D (one train out of six).

The Transilians are not spared, with one train in three expected for lines H, J, K, L, N, two Transiliens out of five for line P, one Transilien out of five for line R and two Transiliens out of three “on average” for line U.

In the Paris metro: very disrupted lines

The RATP plans “very disrupted traffic on the RER networks [pour la partie qu’elle gère] and metro” And “slightly disturbed on the bus network”. The situation will be a little more complicated for users of the line 8which will run only from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and which will only be open between the Créteil-Pointe du Lac and Reuilly-Diderot stations.

There line 9 will operate between 5:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. The RATP specifies that two out of three trains will run in the morning, against one out of two in the afternoon.

On the line 10one out of three trains will run between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and one out of two trains between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

There line 11 will have one train out of two from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and one train out of three from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

On the line 12three out of five metros will run from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Finally, on the line 13which will only run between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., one in three trains will run between the Saint-Denis-Université / Les Courtilles and Montparnasse-Bienvenüe stations (the end of the line that goes from Montparnasse to Châtillon-Montrouge will remain closed ).

The RATP also warns that many stations, on different lines, will remain closed all day : République, Opera, City Hall, Réaumur-Sébastopol, Simplon, Strasbourg-Saint-Denis, City, Saint-Placide, Barbara, Hoche, Laumière, Richard-Lenoir, Campo-Formio, La Motte-Picquet-Grenelle, Richelieu- Drouot, Grands Boulevards, Cadet, Tolbiac, Jourdain, Goncourt, Rambuteau, Invalides, Varenne, Liège, Guy Moquet, Garibaldi, and Brochant.

In airports: disrupted flights at Orly

It will be necessary to expect the cancellation of one in five flights departing from Orly airport Tuesday. The General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC) has thus asked airlines to preventively cancel 20% of their flights, due to a strike by air traffic controllers.
