The lucky ones who are going on vacation this summer will be able to book their train tickets this week. The SNCF announced, Monday March 11, on its website, that it would open its TGV Inoui and Intercités ticket office on Wednesday for sales in France and Europe between July 6 and September 11. The company specifies that “400,000 additional TGV Inoui seats” will be offered, compared to last summer.

Seats for Ouigo trains will also be available on Wednesday, for journeys until December 14. Tickets for other regional TER trains will be put on sale gradually from Wednesday, also specifies the SNCF. You will nevertheless have to get up early to be sure of having the place of your choice: the ticket office will be accessible from around 6 a.m., franceinfo has learned.

Several destinations will be better served this summer than before, SNCF also assures. She cites for example a daily service between Paris and La Rochelle from July 5 to September 2, and a third daily service between Paris and Barcelona from July 6 to September 1.
