Trade Deadline | Wild trade Patrick Maroon to Bruins

After passing through Anaheim, Edmonton, New Jersey, St. Louis, Tampa Bay and Minnesota, Patrick Maroon is heading to Boston.

The Wild traded the three-time Stanley Cup champion to the Bruins on Friday, the National League trade deadline. However, we do not yet know the details of the exchange; according to journalist Michael Russo of The Athletic, the Bruins would obtain a conditional late draft pick in return.

Maroon, of which this is the 13e season in the Bettman circuit, has recorded 4 goals and 12 assists in 49 games so far this season with the Wild. He spent 60 minutes in the cell.

The 35-year-old forward, who will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season, underwent back surgery in early February following an injury suffered Jan. 27 against the Ducks. Anaheim. He must miss four to six weeks of activities.
