Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car tops iTunes playlists

Since she sang her 1988 hit, Fast Carwith Luke Combs, at the Grammy ceremony, Tracy Chapman was propelled into the rankings of online listening platforms.


Fast Car has in fact reached the top of the online listening rankings on the iTunes platform in the United States, even downgrading the piece flowersby Miley Cyrus, who came second.

Tracy Chapman, who had not appeared on television in at least four years, sang her piece with young country singer Luke Combs, who took over Fast Car on his album Gettin’ Old. Its version is found in 5e position.

In this same ranking, we also find several pieces by the late country singer Toby Keith, who died Monday at the age of 62, as well as the song Turn The Lights Back Onby Billy Joel.
