Nordahl Lelandais will be tried on November 27 in Charleville-Mézières for the sexual assault of a little cousin, a minor at the time.
Nordahl Lelandais will soon face justice for the third time. The 40-year-old man will be tried by the Charleville-Mézières criminal court (Ardennes) on November 27. He is accused of sexual assault and death threats against one of his cousins. The facts allegedly took place in 2017. The victim, then aged 14, attended her father’s funeral. “He took me in his arms. His hands went down my back then to my butt. He touched my chest. I pushed him away. He then warned me: ‘if you say anything, I will kill you’”, specified the victim in 2019.
Sentenced to life
The former soldier has already been convicted of sexual assault committed on two little cousins, a case which caused fear in the families of the victims. “You don’t do things like that to a child.”, said the mother of a victim. The case was judged at the same time as the kidnapping, sequestration and murder of little Maëlys for which Nordahl Lelandais was sentenced to life imprisonment.
