Farmers continue their protest movement for the third day in a row. Saturday January 20, hundreds of demonstrators gathered to block the A64 motorway south of Toulouse (Haute-Garonne). They denounce the fall in their income and unfair competition.

They denounce soaring production costs and a deterioration in their working conditions. “We were promised aid in November. We still don’t have them“, denounces Christophe Raffit, cattle breeder in Larroque (Haute-Garonne).
From Occitania to the whole of France?
The movement spread throughout France. In Limoges (Haute-Vienne), farmers came in tractors to show their fed up. “We don’t work for much anymore. When you’ve paid for everything, there’s nothing left”, deplores Romain Gabelout, farmer in Saint-Martin-Terressus (Haute-Vienne).
