Tour of the France Bleu markets, Friday March 11 live at the Chapelle s/ Erdre, place de l’église

On the occasion of the France Bleu market tour, France Bleu Loire Océan invites you to meet on Friday 11 March, market square in La Chapelle s/Erdre. From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., come and cook with chef Karl Fontaine.

As part of the event tour organized by France Bleu in partnership with France Terre de Lait, France Bleu Loire Océan invites you to meet on Friday March 11, 2022 from the church to the Chapel s/ Erdre. From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., come and cook live with Karl Fontaine.

Gilles Colliaux will be with chef Karl Fontaine on a special live broadcast from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Together they will first go to the market, then the chef will take over the kitchen truck specially made available to him, to take up the challenge of the day :
With 30 euros, he will have to:

  • prepare a meal for 8 people live, in front of you, with starter, main course and dessert
  • by including two dairy products

After this preparation, people present in the market will be able to taste what Karl Fontaine has prepared and savor the quality of the dishes.

Karl Fontaine, the bio

“Originally from Nantes, I completed my training at the Paul Bocuse Institute in Lyon (2016 Graduate in Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management).
Following this training, I had the chance to travel thanks to my passion. From the south of France to the restaurant La Mirande (1* Michelin), via the Restaurant Paul Bocuse in Shanghai, to the best restaurant in Canada 2017: Le Toqué!
I returned to my Nantes region in 2018 to work at the Roza restaurant (1* Michelin) to finally set off on a trip to England at the Hide restaurant (1* Michelin) where I worked for a year as a Sous -Chief.
Back in France, I took an executive Sous-Chef position in a Palace in Courchevel before turning to culinary education where I am currently a Chef trainer in Rennes.
It is therefore quite natural that today I offer you various services at home: Gastronomic dinners, Cooking classes, Product discoveries…”
