The 2022 Women’s Tour de France, first edition, will take off on Sunday July 24, in Paris, when the men will complete their big loop. On the program for the runners: 82 km between the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphea passage on the banks of the Seine, a climb on the Trocadéro and twelve turns on the Champs-Elysées.
The stage profile
After this prologue which promises magnificent images, the Women’s Tour will set off towards Seine-et-Marne then the Grand Est and Bourgogne-France-Comté. On the program for this first edition: eight stages of 1,029 km in total, from July 24 to 31.
Four flat stages, two hilly stages and two mountain stages with an altitude finish at La Super Planche des Belles Filles. Twenty-four cycling teams, including five French, are involved.

Stage times
The start will be given at 1:30 p.m. at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. The actual start will be at 1:40 p.m. on the avenue des Champs-Elysées. It is also here that the scheduled arrival will take place between 3:27 p.m. and 3:37 p.m.
