The Col de Spandelles, one of the three climbs of the 17th stage of the Tour de France 2022 this Thursday between Lourdes and Hautcam (143.2 kilometers), will be taken for the very first time in history by the riders. We recognized him with Joseph and Gabriel, two riders from VC Nayais.
It’s a first in the history of the Tour de Francecreated in 1903. This Thursday, during the 17th stage between Lourdes and Hautacam (143.2 kilometres), after crossing the mythical Aubisque pass and before starting the final ascent to the Hautacam station, the runners will pass through a pass never crossed on the Grande Boucle, the Col de Spandelles, located on the border between Béarn and Bigorre, near Ferrières in the Hautes-Pyrénées.
Joseph and Gabriel, two young riders from VC Nayais, the Béarnais club Mathieu Ladagnous, professional in the Groupama-FDJ team (not selected for the Tour), recognized for us this mountain pass 10.3 kilometers at 8.3% average.
