“Touchées” by Alexandra Lamy, a film about rebuilding after being the victim of violence

Alexandra Lamy is an actress, now a director, but above all very involved in his personal life. She works in particular at the Maison des femmes, a place of care for women in difficulty or victims of violence.

So when we offered him to do his first experience behind the camera on a film that deals with reconstruction, the hesitation was not long. “Touchées” is an adaptation of the eponymous comic by Quentin Zuttion.

Three women, three fights, one goal: to break free from the past

During the rewriting phase, Alexandra Lamy felt invested insome responsibility. She drew on readings, podcasts, and her experience at the Women’s House to dig deeper into the characters. In the comic strip, the group of women she staged doesn’t really exist, but she wanted it to be present on screen.

In “Touched”, recovery goes through sport and more precisely fencing, a sport that allows “to take blows, to give them, to control violence”. Lucie has just moved to Anduze with her son Léo, to escape her violent ex-spouse. By participating in a group therapy original based on sports, she will form a sincere friendship with Nicole and Tamara.
