The most popular spy trio of the 2000s is back in action: Totally spies !a French animated series with worldwide success, returns Sunday May 12 on Gulli (M6 group) for a seventh season brought up to date, 11 years after the previous one on TF1.
We will find Sam, Clover and Alex, teenagers leading a double life as secret agents of Woohp, an organization for the protection of humanity, always dressed in green, red and yellow jumpsuits, based this time in Singapore and more in Beverly Hills.

But the Spies “are 80% what everyone knows, they have not changed”, assures the one who notably called on a director and screenwriters already working on previous seasons. Enough to satisfy the fans of the first hour of “30 to 35 years old” and a new audience at “6-10 year olds”hopes the producer. “I wanted to relaunch them but with, I hope, subtlety, so that it is just the extension of a success which has not been unworthy for 20 years”, he adds.
Created by two French producers, Vincent Chalvon-Demersay and David Michel, inspired by James Bond and the “Girl power” promoted by the Spice Girls or Britney Spears, the series was broadcast in 220 territories and in 60 languages, with 156 episodes produced. from 2001 to 2013.
Very popular, the brand was available in cinemas in 2009 and in bookstores, where a new volume adapted from season 6 was released on Friday May 10 by Vega, the manga label from Editions Dupuis. She also benefits from a strong community of fans around the world and on social networks, including “two billion videos viewed on Youtube”according to Benoit Di Sabatino.
