A cinema atmosphere that is not as usual. A summer at the cinema in Pau is a popular event. The Méliès invites you free of charge to several places in the city to enjoy a canvas under the stars. Until August 27, 2022, 18 free outdoor screenings in collaboration with the City of Pau. 6 screening locations are planned throughout the program:

- Greenery Theater
- Villa Ridgway
- Garden of Basse Plante (Château de Pau)
- The Nursery Social Center
- Domain of Sers
In case of bad weather, return to the Méliès cinema at 10 p.m. The session is free within the limit of available places.
Films for all tastes and for everyone
A summer at the cinema in Pau drains all styles of film: comedy with “Erasing History” by Benoit Delépine and Gustave Kerven. The story of 3 neighbors who go to war against the Gafa (it’s very funny). There is also “Kaamelot” from the series with Alexandre Astier in the time of the knights of the round table in a parody way. You will also find our famous Jean Dujardin as a spy in “OSS 117 Red alert in black Africa”.
Animation films with “Violet Evergarden” a Japanese animated film, “Spirit the Indomitable”, the story of a girl and a horse in search of freedom. or “Josep” about the Spanish Civil War and “Calamity” about adventures in the American West.
Thrillers like The Law of Tehran in Iranian prisons and the world of drugs or even Old from the director of the 6th sense.
