This will be in place from Friday. TotalEnergies will expand “momentarily” its price cap measure at 1.99 euros per liter for all fuels (SP95, SP98, diesel, Excellium), the group announced on Thursday April 6 in a press release. “The price freeze measure initiated in March therefore also applies to the Excellium product range (SP98 and Diesel Excellium)according to the press release.

“Some stations are out of one or more products, this expansion will allow our customers to benefit from the measurement regardless of the product”, told AFP a source inside the group. The measure concerning the Excellium range will apply “until the stations no longer experience supply difficulties”according to the same source, which recalls that since March 1, the prices of the classic range (simple diesel and SP95 petrol) are capped, and this, for the whole of 2023.
