Total confirms the extension of the 20 cent discount at the pump until mid-November

The pump discount of 20 cents will be extended until mid-November. The management of TotalEnergies confirmed this on Monday, the day after the announcement made by Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne. This discount was initially due to end on November 1 at Total service stations to be reduced to 10 cents per liter until December 31.

It is added to the rebate financed by the State of 30 cents, also extended until mid-November when it was to drop to 10 cents from November 1. This decision was taken in order to deal with the fuel shortages affecting many stations in France after a social movement that got bogged down in refineries.
