(Toronto) The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Calle Jarnkrok to a four-year, $8.4 million contract.

The 30-year-old Jarnkrok played for the Seattle Kraken and the Calgary Flames last winter. He had 12 goals and 18 assists in 66 games.
2010 Detroit Red Wings second-round pick, 51e overall, Jarnkrok has 106 goals and 135 assists in 574 regular season games with the Nashville Predators, Kraken and Flames.
The native of Gavle, Sweden helped his nation win World Championship gold in 2013 and bronze in 2014.
Jarnkrok was an unrestricted free agent.
