(Toronto) The Toronto Maple Leafs offered a two-year contract extension to forward Bobby McMann on Wednesday.
McMann, who could become an unrestricted free agent next summer, will pocket an average of 1.35 million US dollars per season.
He scored 10 goals and collected eight assists in 40 games this season.
McMann, 27, went undrafted after a four-year college career.
He signed with the Maple Leafs as a free agent on April 2, 2020. He has 49 goals and 22 assists in 118 career games with the Maple Leafs’ farm club, the Toronto Marlies.
McMann played his first 10 NHL games in 2022-23, recording one assist during that time.
