(Toronto) Toronto police announced Wednesday that they have arrested a premeditated murder suspect who tops a list of Canada’s 25 most wanted people.

The arrest of Abilaziz Mohamed took place thanks to information provided by a citizen less than 12 hours after the publication of the list by the BOLO program, a police initiative that encourages the public to keep an eye out to help capture the most wanted suspects in the country.

A $250,000 reward was offered for information leading to the arrest of Abilaziz Mohamed.

The 32-year-old individual is suspected of the murder of a 43-year-old man, Craig MacDonald, which occurred last October in Toronto.

Among the other 24 most wanted people in Canada are two suspected Quebec criminals: Youcef Abderahim Bouras, suspected of murder by the Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL), and Blake Charbonneau, wanted for pimping by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
