Thanks to the innovative Joy-Con 2, players can enjoy fresh abilities and mini-games, including the unique mouse mode in Jamboree Express. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom
It comes as no surprise that the latest installments of the Zelda franchise are receiving enhanced versions. Nintendo has confirmed improvements in frame rates and resolution, along with HDR support for richer colors. Additionally, the new Zelda Notes feature will be introduced within the Nintendo Switch App, formerly known as the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app, by the end of May. This feature will provide players with audio guides to unlock secrets in these expansive open worlds. Both titles will be available on launch day, June 5th.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land

The game will support stunning 4K visuals at 60 frames per second when docked, or 1080p at 60 fps in handheld mode. For those seeking high-performance options, there are modes offering 1080p at 120 fps when docked or 720p at 120 fps in handheld.
Pokémon Legends Z-A
Fans of the franchise can rejoice as Pokémon Legends Z-A joins the lineup of enhanced titles for the new console. While we anticipated an upgrade, it’s reassuring to see it confirmed in this initial selection. Expect improved resolution and frame rates, although the overall graphics will remain consistent with the previous version. The release is slated for the end of the year.
Keep in mind that these graphical enhancements and performance upgrades will not be available for free. If you already own the games, you’ll need to purchase the upgrades, or you can opt for digital or physical copies of the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
