Top chef season 13… Only one limit for the candidates: their imagination!

The 15 contestants of the 13th season of “Top Chef” all have incredible personalities. Talented, they will take up new challenges thanks to their ability to invent ever more surprising dishes. Because in these kitchens, which have become a Mecca of the culinary scene, the most creative chefs in the world will come to share their universe and challenge, each week, the participants on the theme that has made them famous.

And this year, to help candidates meet these incredible challenges, a new juror enters in the contest. Glenn Viel, the youngest 3-star Chef in France, joins the prestigious jury already composed of Hélène Darroze, Philippe Etchebest and Paul Pairet.

New challenges

The restaurant war. This year again, the objective for the candidates is to satisfy customers in the dining room and in take-out sales. The winning team’s menu will be available for delivery via Uber Eats in 9 cities in France (Paris, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Grenoble, Montpellier, Toulouse and Bordeaux).

Offal with Adrien Cachot. Adrien Cachot, “young talent” Gault and Millau in 2019, finalist of “Top Chef” in 2020 and darling of the public, has just opened a restaurant in Paris, where he offers his unique and daring cuisine: we obviously find on his menu offal, products with which he will challenge the candidates.

10 years of the black box. For 10 years, the black box has challenged candidates and chefs, who must taste a dish in complete darkness and then reproduce it! To celebrate this tenth anniversary, a very destabilizing surprise imagined by a three-starred chef whose identity will remain secret awaits them inside the black box.

Michelin guide inspectors. Gwendal Poullonnec and the inspectors of the most famous gastronomic guide in the world will challenge the candidates by asking them to make THE dish that best represents them, their signature dish!

• And also, the test “Who can beat Philippe Etchebest”, a test with Jean Imbert at the Plaza Athénée, “The return of the eliminated”…
