TOP 14 – UBB: Matthieu Jalibert back in the squad against Pau

This is news that should delight Bordeaux supporters. Absent since January 16, the opening half Matthieu Jalibert will return to the group against Pau this Saturday. Deprived of the first three games of the Six Nations Tournament due to a quadriceps injury, the UBB opener has resumed training with his club since the start of the week, and should be ready on Saturday against Pau .

Physically he’s pretty good. The rehabilitation he did at Saint Raphaël did him a lot of good. He found sensations on the ground. He won’t be 100% but he will be ready. – Christophe Urios coach of the UBB

UBB internationals left to rest

The other Union players selected for the France team (Cameron Woki, Maxime Lucu, Yoram Moefana) will not play during this international break. They are left to rest. Matthieu Jalibert will therefore be able to regain his bearings for a match at Chaban-Delmas, before perhaps a potential return to the France team against Wales.

François Trinh Duc should also return to the workforce bordeaux to face Pau this Saturday, March 5. Among the absentees, Nans Ducuing and Ben Lam did not return to training. Jandre Marais is unavailable until the end of March.
