The CAB receives the Stade Toulousain and its cast of internationals. “We face internationals every weekend, relativizes Esteban Abadie. If we start looking at them and throwing flowers at them, we are on the wrong track” indicates the third line first.

. “When we take 47 outside, if we don’t have this spirit, we have nothing to do with rugby” explains Julien Delannoy, the Brivist second line. “That game is behind us now, we have to move on” believes the new Brive recruit. And to move forward, nothing like a confrontation against the Dupont gang.
Mauvaka, Marchand, Dupont, Jaminet, Arnold or even Mallia…prestigious names that should not influence Brive members. “No, it’s not mission impossible” to beat them, says Argentinian winger Axel Muller. “They are very good in contacts and off-loads, but we are good in defence. We have to get our balls in attack” concludes Axel Muller.

But this match can be a turning point for the Brivists. Winning it would allow Brive to chain two victories at home…and additionally bring down a big one. “You have to play at 120% and if we are all convinced that we can win, it will be fine for us. This match is a key match for our season, we must realize that.“ warns Axel Muller.
Counters almost closed
The Brivists will be expected anyway: the Stadium will be almost sold out with more than 10,000 supporters in the stadium. “It will not be a surprise the reception we will have this Saturday” summed up one of the coaches of Toulouse Clément Poitrenaud. It now remains to convert this pressure into a positive for Brive.
