To celebrate the end of the year in music, France Bleu La Rochelle offered you on December 2 a “Talents de L’Ouest” concert evening with 2 artists from Charente-Maritime. A charity evening which took place in the Beauséjour room in Châtelaillon-Plage for the greatest pleasure of the public present. Each spectator brought a toy given to the children of poor families of Secours Populaire (17)

Quentin Winter’s blues

Quentin winter is a singer, songwriter and guitarist living in Tonnay-Charente near Rochefort. It was at the age of 16 that Quentin became interested in the guitar. A few years later, at random listening, Quentin discovers on the family computer, a piece of music by a certain Stevie Ray Vaughan. It is at this moment that blues music enters the depths of his soul and gives new meaning to his life. 10 years later, Quentin left his job as a boilermaker to make a living from his passion: Blues music!
Passionate about the guitar, he owns 18! . Electric guitars, acoustic guitars, box cigars … and his favorite: a guitar Jacobacci.

Today, Quentin offers us a few covers of blues standards revisited in his own way as well as some compositions, sometimes tinged with other styles of music such as traditional French and Celtic music.
Quentin now plays solo guitar / vocals in the show ” Quentin Winter and the Blues »But also in electric blues trio« Winter Blues Band “.
His last album was released on September 17, 2021 and since then Quentin Winter sings his blues on the stages of France. He even provided the first part of the concert of Paul Person on November 18, 2021 at La Nef d’Angoulême.
