Tomer Sisley tears his shoulder on the set of “Largo Winch 3” and the rest is not happy

You might think that putting on the costume of a character you have already played is a walk in the park. But not for Tomer Sisley and his cult character Largo Winch. Sixteen years after the release of the first part and 13 years after that of the second, the 49-year-old actor has in fact decided to reprise his role as a billionaire for a third opus, Largo Winch: The Price of Moneywhich is scheduled for release on August 7 in theaters.

Filming carried out across the four corners of the globe, between Belgium, Hungary and Thailand, over several years. The production of the film was in fact slowed down by the Covid-19 pandemic. But this is not the only hazard encountered by the production during filming. Despite intense physical preparation, Tomer Sisley could not escape injury due to the multiple stunts imposed by the film.

Torn shoulder, broken forearm…

In an interview given to our colleagues from Télé-Loisirs, the actor indeed returned to this chaotic shoot, in particular because of the falls. “We only had difficulties! First of all, injuries. I tore my shoulder on a motorbike practicing for a stunt before the first day of filming. A few weeks after injuring my shoulder, I had a sledding stunt to do in -30 degree weather. You had to roll down a slope, jump off the sled, all with a torn shoulder. It was quite a challenge.”

But this first adventure was only the premise of other disappointments: “During this stunt, I managed to preserve my shoulder but I broke my forearm…. Obviously after the next day, there was a fight scene to do with James Franco. It was from afar the most grueling shoot of the three films”confesses Tomer Sisley.

Nothing to scare the actor who still managed to finish filming. In this new opus, it is not only the actor who has been tested, the character of Largo Winch as well. Based on volumes 13 and 14 of the eponymous saga, Largo Winch 3 tells the continuation of the adventures of the billionaire, where the latter is confronted with the kidnapping of his son as well as the suicide of an associate. Two tragic and successive events which are perhaps not a coincidence, which Largo Winch will quickly understand, at his own risk.
