Astrid and Pauline imagined the integration of nurseries within EHPAD to recreate intergenerational links. In this retirement home in Montussan, in Gironde, the generations connect with each other and allow children and the elderly to share a little of their daily life. The idea was so appealing that the 2 young women developed 9 in total on our territory. Their initiative grew into a business, called Tom & Josette ! In the crèches-EHPAD Tom & Josette, a group of local residents lead workshops with the little ones. Individually, if a boarder wishes, he or she can just go around the crèche to take the children on their knees, and simply play grandma or grandpa again. If you are the head of an EHPAD and want to be one of the people on the move, all you have to do is apply to welcome children in your establishment. One of the conditions: to have a room of at least 120m2 on the ground floor and above all a lot of motivation!
