Immigration: “There has been a completely abusive granting of nationality in recent years”

The head of the party list European of 2024 also deplores the lack of places in prison and the policy of the sentence enforcement judge. “Today there is the question of the weight of immigration in the development of crime”she specifies.

On the riots, Marion Maréchal cites a report from the police headquarters, which indicates, according to her, that a majority of the incriminated people are of French nationality, but most of them come from North African or sub-Saharan immigration. “There has been a completely abusive granting of nationality in recent years, which means that today, including people who have French nationality, in reality, even sometimes for two or three generations, are not people of heart integrated, assimilated in fact. There is even a phenomenon of disassimilation”she says.
