A productive trip for the Blue Jackets

Jack Roslovic netted a brace to help the Columbus Blue Jackets win 7-4 over the Buffalo Sabers on Monday.

Roslovic scored twice in the first half, which ended 2-2.

The Columbus native also took part in Max Domi’s net, in the midst of an unanswered three-goal push from the Jackets (Oliver Bjorkstrand and Vladislav Gavrikov then being the other scorers).

Gavrikov completed his own brace late in the third period, after Buffalo made matters worse thanks to Dylan Cozens and Tage Thompson, the latter scoring his second goal of the game.

Sean Kuraly completed for Columbus, which has prevailed two out of three times on a trip to Glendale, Las Vegas and Buffalo.

Accomplice of the Jackets’ first goal, Zach Werenski has collected a seventh point in his last five games.

Zemgus Girgensons hit the other goal for the Sabers, who lost for the third time in a row.

Buffalo will also host Boston and Montreal this week (Wednesday and Friday).
