To end the war

To paraphrase Saint-Exupéry, war is not war, it is a disease. Thus appears the aggression, not of Russia, but of Putin relying on Russia, against Ukraine. This oriental despot seems to want to make a desert of his neighbor. He takes it badly, since the conflict gets bogged down.

It is necessary at all costs, in this war, to prevent the Russian President from losing face. He wouldn’t accept it. This would be to risk dragging the world, at least the West, into a headlong rush, into a logic of annihilation. To put an end to it, the American president, on behalf of NATO, must offer Russia an end to the invasion and the immediate withdrawal of its forces from Ukraine in exchange for the no less immediate end to the sanctions. .
