As part of a report in the Lachine borough, we were delighted to finally discover the Italian sandwich and pastry shop Nonnina, which attracts crowds – and influencers! – rue Notre-Dame in a building of the oldest public market in Montreal.
The friendly atmosphere of the place is typical of Italian cafes, while the gourmet offering abounds for everything between two slices of bread.
We also have to talk about the irresistible desserts, whether it’s the essential cannolis, key lime pie or those of the moment (pumpkin these days). There is also a menu of hot dishes (gnocchi, cod croquettes), a terrace and extremely efficient and smiling employees!
But when are we going back?
