To discover | Fill up at L’Echoppe, grocer chefs

We love these hybrid spaces where we always find a good reason to stop. This is the case of L’Échoppe, chefs épiciers, address of the Saint-Jean-Baptiste district in Quebec, a project jointly led by the owner of The Hobbit, Jocelyne Veillette (whom everyone calls Jojo), and her two new partners , chef Rémi Harvey (47e Parallèle) and butler Danie Ouellette (Versa, Sales Gosses).

Together, they imagined this gourmet grocery store which is also a café, a refreshment bar and a counter, located right next to the institution which opened more than 20 years ago!

On the stalls, homemade pasta, marinades, vegetables and other gourmet products rub shoulders. On the counter side, a fine selection of seafood products, a butcher section and ready-to-eat meals for dinners in a hurry.
