Lucie embarked on an incredible journey: 4,000 kilometers by bike, 101 stages across France, with a different city every evening. The particularity of his initiative? The young woman stops at retirement homes. She thus wishes to raise awareness of the isolation of seniors, by distributing to them “some mail” For “create social connections”she explains.

Having left Bordeaux, Lucie Reyx plans to work with the elderly. Near Lille (North), she stops for lunch in a nursing home in Haubourdin. She then tells her adventure to the residents. “This idea was born from a personal desire (…) I wanted to show that great things can happen in nursing homes, and that there are great people who work there”confides the young gerontologist.
