Meet from July 16 to August 15, 2022, Metz Plage the summer event not to be missed, in partnership with France Bleu Lorraine.

Metz Beach invites you to take the plunge every year during the summer at Metz lake.

Organized by the City of Metz, it is an unmissable event, eagerly awaited by all Mosellens, a rich and varied program of July 16, 2022 to August 15in a place of relaxation and escape within the city of Metz.

The summer entertainment finds its sandy beaches and palm trees and some new features… on the water!

Close 1200 tons of sand end for the beach and sports fields, a 225 m² swimming poolthe revegetation of beach furniture…. What a way to spend a heavenly summer!

A great entertainment program awaits the whole family:

  • Aquatic areas for children.
  • sports initiation.
  • Spaces to practice beach sports, zip line.
  • Demonstrations by local associations.

On the sports fields: beach soccer, beach hand, beach volleyball, basketball and many other disciplines.

Thematic days are also on the program:

  • July 26 : Day with Olympic Games and organization of Olympiads.
  • August 2/3/4 : Well-being with tai-chi, massage and yoga.
  • August 6 : Digital with video games, new technologies.
  • 9/10/ 11 August : sustainable development with food recycling, waste sorting.

Offered free of charge by the city of Metz, all these activities allow everyone to take full advantage of sunny days on an exceptional site.

Year after year, the event remains free.

Dates and times: From Saturday July 16, 2022 to Monday August 15, 2022: from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The body of water is located next to the Hildegarde promenade, between the island of Saulcy on one side and the Esplanade park on the other.

Metz Plage: swimming, idleness or sport, it’s up to you!
