Lord Ivar Mountbatten, 61, has been announced as a participant in the third season of ‘The Traitors’, the British adaptation of ‘Die Verräter’.
As the son of the late David Mountbatten, 3rd Marquess of Milford Haven, and Janet Mercedes Bryce, 87, Lord Ivar is a second cousin to King Charles, 76, and a first cousin to the late Prince Philip, 99. He was previously married to Penelope Thompson from 1994 until their divorce in 2011, and they share three daughters. In 2016, Lord Ivar made headlines as the first member of the extended royal family to publicly come out as gay, later marrying flight attendant James Coyle in 2018, marking a significant moment in royal history.
